About Regent Street

Regent Street is a major shopping street in the West End of London. It is named after George, the Prince Regent (later George IV) and was laid out under the direction of the architect John Nash and James Burton. It runs from Waterloo Place in St James's at the southern end, through Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus, to All Souls Church. From there Langham Place and Portland Place continue the route to Regent's Park.

The street's layout was completed in 1825 and was an early example of town planning in England, replacing earlier roads including Swallow Street. Nash and Burton's street layout has survived, although all the original buildings except All Souls Church have been replaced following reconstruction in the late 19th century.[1] The street is known for its flagship retail stores, including Liberty, Hamleys, Jaeger and the Apple Store. The Royal Polytechnic Institution, now the University of Westminster, has been based on Regent Street since 1838.

Renegade Rich or Rich the Renegade https://www.rare.pictures/blog/2020/1/renegade-rich-or-rich-the-renegade So I have a few Renegades Domain names. I am also thinking on starting a series of episodes Called: Rich the Reneged. I threw this video together in about 2 hours as a test to kind of feel the waters.. I am using iClone 7 for the creator editor and a bunch more software to compile it. Renegades News  will become the main site for the series as well still being my blog. The Renegades will have a company called Control Network  This could all change I have also been considering using renegades.us.com for the Renegades site and Area Control For the Company they are working for. Either way I am on it.  Here is the High Res test video for Rich the Renegade:

President George Washington - painted by G. Stuart https://www.rare.pictures/blog/2020/1/george-washington Greeting This is Rich,

I found this beautiful high resolution, full-length portrait, standing, facing left of George Washington in public domain and thought I would restore it for your pleasure to hang in your office, home or wherever you would like. I cleaned up the scratches, scuffs spots and stains within the portrait. No guarantees. I could have missed a few places but I think Old George would be pleased with me. I did a lot less restoration on the boarders as to leave the print, stains etc. For a more authentic viewing. If you don't have it framed on my site I would recommend leaving the borders if you buy a print from me and when you have it framed you can have them frame and matt over the borders if you prefer. I hope you enjoy it. You can view this and more historical photos in the [History Photos Gallery]. See more information below.

President George Washington (February 22, 1732 – December 14, 1799) was an American political leader, military general, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first president of the United States from 1789 to 1797. He led Patriot forces to victory in the nation's War for Independence.

Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming https://www.rare.pictures/blog/2020/1/greenhouse-effect-and-global-warming This is a video [see below] I made to share for Green House issues.

Text that is in this video.

Scientists attribute the global warming trend observed since the mid-20th century to the human expansion of the "greenhouse effect" warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space. Certain gases in the atmosphere block heat from escaping. Long-lived gases that remain semi-permanently in the atmosphere and do not respond physically or chemically to changes in temperature are described as "forcing" climate change. On Earth, human activities are changing the natural greenhouse. Over the last century the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2).

This happens because the coal or oil burning process combines carbon with oxygen in the air to make CO2. To a lesser extent, the clearing of land for agriculture, industry, and other human activities has increased concentrations of greenhouse gases. The consequences of changing the natural atmospheric greenhouse are difficult to predict, but certain effects seem likely: On average, Earth will become warmer. Some regions may welcome warmer temperatures, but others may not. Warmer conditions will probably lead to more evaporation and precipitation overall, but individual regions will vary, some becoming wetter and others dryer. A stronger greenhouse effect will warm the oceans and partially melt glaciers and other ice, increasing sea level. Ocean water also will expand if it warms, contributing further to sea level rise. Meanwhile, some crops and other plants may respond favorably to increased atmospheric CO2, growing more vigorously and using water more efficiently. At the same time, higher temperatures and shifting climate patterns may change the areas where crops grow best and affect the makeup of natural plant communities.

The Role of Human Activity In its Fifth Assessment Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 1,300 independent scientific experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there's a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet. The industrial activities that our modern civilization depends upon have raised atmospheric carbon dioxide levels from 280 parts per million to 400 parts per million in the last 150 years. The panel also concluded there's a better than 95 percent probability that human-produced greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide have caused much of the observed increase in Earth's temperatures over the past 50 years.

Greenhouse EffectScientists attribute the global warming trend observed since the mid-20th century to the human expansion of the "greenhouse effect" warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.
